Herons are really shy in the south of Spain but during this time of the year they are a bit more tolerant with the presence of humans. I captured this one shooting from the car, with the engine working and the car moving a very, very low speed (unpavimented road, no traffic... it was not an unsafe situation, of course). I was driving the car when I saw the bird, then I reduced the car speed almost to stop it and when I could get a good point of view of the bird through the passenger seat I took the camera and got a two sharp images from a series of three frames. The heron was cooperative but, she was not a professional model posing for me This one is a full frame image but the bird is a bit centerd in the composition so I cropped from the left and a bit from the right.

Hola Juan!! a eso le llamo yo pericia,desde el coche medio en marcha,exposición manual que eso ya tiene tela y mas en movimiento...y formato completo.Acertaste de pleno compañero!! No es solo suerte hay que tener práctica tambien.Por cierto ese fondo le va de coña,resalta muy bien.Buen trabajo.
P.D. Cuando sale el próximo de superfoto naturaleza?? como esto no avisan jejeje...
